Hundreds Flock To Dubai for Yoga Fest

Dubai: Seasoned and amateur yogis from the region flocked to Dubai on Saturday for the YogaFest ME.

The event at Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre highlighted everything from yoga to pilates, dance, qi gong and meditation.

Uma Thurman's brother, Dechen Thurman, attended the event as a Jivamukti Yoga instructor.

At the heart of the festival is dedication to sustainability and a fund-raising campaign for non-profit organisations supporting vulnerable children.

More than Dh200,000 has been raised to date, and in 2016, the festival is delighted to support the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children
